Designing for 3D Printing

How to design parts in CAD to be optimized for additive manufacturing and how to take into account tolerances and other constraints of 3D printing. We will cover topics such as part orientation, overhang optimization, wall thickness, use of chamfers and fillets, hole geometry, tolerances between mating parts, part strength, and more, with demonstrations using actual 3D printed parts.
