Description
Get started with controls and programming in the FIRST robotics program! This is intended as a purely introductory course to get started with control and programming in FRC. Some minor electrical experience is recommended but not required to clarify some concepts. I will cover the absolute basics for the software and hardware here to get you familiar and started with the WPILib framework for FRC. This will include:
Foundational control theory
Installing (and finding!) required software + documentation
Initial setup of hardware
Review basic function of the WPILib robot framework (including the Driver's Station and Simulation)
Source control
This also segues into another session later in the day. Visit me then for a session on some intermediate topics!
